ABOUT US

Saving lives, one Mother at a time

Seconds 4 Good embodies the spirit of compassion and action in the fight against Maternal mortality. It reminds us that every single effort, in seconds, counts — every vaccine given, every clean water source provided, and every mother educated makes a difference.

Behind each saved life is a future restored, a dream rekindled, and a family given hope.

What we are doing.

Seconds 4 Good is committed to reducing maternal mortality in Nigeria through practical, people-centered interventions. We empower women and communities with essential health education, promote early antenatal care, and improves access to quality healthcare through partnerships with hospitals and mobile clinics. We also trains health workers and traditional birth attendants to deliver safer care. Alongside service delivery, Seconds 4 Good engages in policy advocacy to strengthen maternal health systems and ensure no woman loses her life while giving birth.

Maternal Health Education & Awareness

Seconds 4 Good focuses on empowering women and communities with vital health education, ensuring they understand safe pregnancy practices and the importance of early antenatal care.

Access to Quality Healthcare Services

By improving access to quality healthcare, including partnerships with hospitals and mobile clinics, we work to make skilled delivery and emergency services available to every woman, regardless of location.

Training and Capacity Building

We also invest in training health workers and traditional birth attendants, strengthening their ability to provide safe and responsive care.

Policy Advocacy &  Collaboration

Beyond service delivery, Seconds 4 Good engages in active policy advocacy, collaborating with government bodies and partners to push for stronger maternal health systems and sustainable reforms.

OUR MISSION

To reduce Maternal mortality in Nigeria through cohesive initiatives aimed at ensuring women stay alive while giving birth

This mission focuses on saving mothers’ lives by tackling the root causes of maternal deaths—limited healthcare access, unsafe delivery practices, and weak emergency response. Through coordinated initiatives like health education, skilled birth support, and improved medical services, Seconds for Good works to protect mothers, strengthen families, and build healthier communities across Nigeria.
